Brass Care 101We chose solid brass for its natural durability, elegant finish and timeless character. Unlike plated tags, our tags are made to last – but they will age. That’s part of the charm.
Brass is a metal alloy mostly made from copper and zinc. Over time, it naturally darkens and develops a soft patina (especially with contact from skin oils or fur). This process gives each tag a unique finish that reflects your cat’s everyday adventures. To restore its original shine, simply polish with a soft cloth and a gentle brass cleaner.
